Unveiled at CES 2010, Kurzweil's new e-reader platform, Blio, is one of the first to offer a read-aloud feature, in which "the voice is synchronized with follow-along word highlighting, making it ideal for language learners, young children and the vision impaired." It will be available as a free download later this month.
